Rev. Robert A. Casas entered the pastoral ministry in 1989 and since 1996 has served as the Senior Pastor of Guiding Light Christian Church. He is married to Ma. Victoria A. Casas and has four children. Ptr. Robbie (as he is better known) is also Vice-Chairman of the Communion of Christian Ministries (CCM), a nationwide association of churches dedicated to the propagation of the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16). He is also currently Vice-Chairman and Council Member of the Association of Metro Baguio Christian Ministers (AMBCM), one of the major Christian associations in Baguio City. Ptr. Robbie is also serving as a Board of Trustees member of Small World Christian School.

Pastor Florencio F. Ragos Jr. came to know Christ personally while he was in college at UP Baguio where he attained a degree in BA Economics- Political Science. While a student, he was involved in campus ministry where he served as a student leader and also as youth worker in the church.  He committed himself to full-time Christian service in 1995 and served as pastor of GLCM church in Dagupan City from 1996 to 2002. At present, he is the Associate and Youth Pastor of Guiding Light Christian Church, Baguio City. Pastor Ence is also part of the Pastoral Staff.  He is married to Jane C. Ragos and is blessed with two children.

Pastor Renato N. Ely is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting at Imus Institute, Cavite in 1988; Bachelor of Theology major in Biblical Studies at the Philippine Missionary Institute, Cavite in 1999; Master of Arts in Ministry at the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary, Baguio City in 2003. He is married to Luisita L. Ely and are blessed with two children. At present, Ptr. Rene is the ministry head of the Missions and Church Outreach Ministry (MCOM) and the Ministry of Evangelism (MOE) of Guiding Light Christian Church, Baguio City. He is also part of the Pastoral Staff.

Melchor C. Maglaqui graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Architecture and has been a practicing architect since 1988. He is a member of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP), Baguio Chapter and is a Board of Trustees member of Small World Christian School. Bro. Mayk serves as a leader of Guiding Light Christian Church. He is married to Mary Anne O. Maglaqui and is blessed with two children.

Ramon A. Moredo is the manager of a digital recording studio here in Baguio. He has been blessed by the Lord with opportunities to develop his skills in planning, designing and administering learning programs for youth and adults. Most of the varying jobs which offered him growth in these areas were in the context of refugee centers both in Bataan, Philippines and in the detention centers in Hong Kong from the year 1980-1995.He now commits his talents and life to Christ and ministry as he serves as a leader of the church and the overseer of the Music ministry of Guiding Light Christian Church. Bro. Mon is married to Francisca P. Moredo and has three children.  

Pastoral Staff

Pastor Onofre Malazo Jr. is the outreach pastor of GLCM-Dagupan. He studied B.S. Architecture and practiced as a designer/builder before entering full time ministry. He also pastored a local church in Tarlac City for two years before joining Guiding Light Christian Church in 1998. Ptr. Jun is married to Rowena Q.  Malazo and is blessed with one son.

Pastor Jericho R. Moncada was the outreach pastor of GLCC-Philex Mines at Padcal, Tuba, Benguet since year 2000. After seven years of ministering at Philex, Ptr Jerry  is now at GLCC-Baguio handling campus and home bible studies. Previously, he pastored at Angeles City, Pampanga for five years. Ptr. Jerry is currently involved in Chalk Talk Evangelism Ministry and is a core member of GLCC Baguio’s Missions and Church Outreach Ministry. He is married to Ma. Cecilia C. Moncada, a public school teacher and is blessed with one daughter.

Pastor Jose Renato G. Ydel was part of the full-time administrative staff of Guiding Light Christian Ministries from 1996 to July 2005, particularly in the Technical Dept. Ptr .Atong has been serving the Lord in the ministry for the past fourteen years and is currently the outreach pastor of Agoo in La Union.  He is married to Ma. Caridad B. Ydel and is blessed with two daughters.

Pastor Renato N. Ely
