Rev. Robbie A. Casas
Ptr. Robbie was born in Manila on January 20, 1961. He was a consistent honor student at the Ateneo de Manila from grade school to college. He graduated with a degree in Business Management. Happily married to Sis. Mavie for 32 years now, they are blessed with four children: Moncie (married to Rhae), Miggy and Chrissy, all professionals in their respective fields, and Corinne, a high school student at Small World Christian School. Moncie and Chrissy are based in Manila.
When he was in 3rd year high school, a group of Baptists shared the gospel to him. Seven years later, he spoke with his Christian aunt who invited him to a Bible study where he once again heard the gospel and on January 5, 1985, he finally surrendered his life to Christ.
At the height of his professional career as an Executive Assistant in a tourism consultancy firm, Teacher at ADMU, Human Resource Development Consultant, Commercial and Studio photographer, businessman, and as a General Manager of a multi-national para-legal support firm, he decided to leave the secular life in 1989 in order to serve God in full time ministry as a pastor in his former church.
After July 1990 earthquake in Northern Luzon, Ptr. Robbie was assigned in Baguio as Outreach Pastor. Six years later however, this church took to departing "from the ancient paths" causing a church split-up. It was then that in 1996 Guiding Light Christian Church was founded.
By God's grace and providence, GLCC turned 20 last July 2016.

Bro. Mon was born in Manila on December 10, 1955. His primary and secondary education years were spent in Mindoro, and took up Business Management at PSBA in Quezon City. Married to Sis. Fran (Pao), they are blessed with three children: Dan, Yda and Ayla.
Raised in a Christian home and church, Bro. Mon was exposed to regular family devotions, Bible stories, church doctrines as well as many Christian activities. Despite his Christian exposure, he viewed himself as having a sinful character specially during his teen-age and early adult years.
He held refugee-processing related jobs in the Philippines and Hong Kong (1994). He worked as a language instructor and as an office employee. Although he handled managerial level positions with a good salary that afforded him a luxurious lifestyle, he considered his life to be meaningless, miserable and empty.
In the middle of 1995, after spending over a year abroad, he prayed for six months about returning to the Philippines as he desired to hear and truly understand the gospel again. It was during his last months in Hong Kong that God touched his heart and prompted him to read the Gospel. Moved by this experience, he pleaded for God's forgiveness and he confessed that only Christ can save him. He finally came home by the end of 1995.
He went back to his former church in 1996 and became a committed Christian. In May 2001, he began attending the Sunday services at GLCC and in 2002, he was invited to join the Steering Committee. It was in 2012 however that he committed himself to full time Christian service.
